Oriundos da velhinha Curva Sul do Estádio José Alvalade, os 4 elementos da banda Supporting reuniram-se pela 1º vez no dia 10 de Setembro de 2013. O local escolhido foi um bar numa praça mítica para muitos sportinguistas, a Praça do Saldanha. Foi nessa noite que Pedro Marques, Paulo Seixas, Luís Piedade e Pedro Branco, todos eles sócios do Sporting há mais de 20 anos, “desenharam” as linhas orientadoras do projecto. Este projecto inédito em Portugal tem como objectivo a criação /adaptação de temas musicais ao melhor estilo “rock & roll”, dedicados ao Grande Sporting Clube de Portugal. Todos os temas que serão compilados num álbum a lançar brevemente, têm letra da autoria dos elementos da banda. O projecto Supporting tem também como missão levar as suas músicas, através de espetáculos ao vivo, a todos os Sportinguistas espalhados pelo país e pelo mundo.
