This channel is centered around documenting the restoral of my 1985.5 Porsche 944 NA that has not run in over 18 years and is currently subject to olympic-level no-start conditions. My goal is to share what I learn with others who may be restoring or repairing their own car and may run into the same issues I encounter. I was inspired to start the channel by some friends from work who I told about my fusebox that was water-damaged/corroded and needed to be restored, but that I could find little to no information on how to remove it without destroying it, and even less on how to actually repair it. I had decided to try it on my own and they suggested that I make a YouTube video of the process... so here we are. The first phase of the rebuild will involve resolving the electical issues that plague the car, including the removal and complete rebuild of the fusebox which has had long-term exposure to water/humidity from a leaking battery box. After that, I'll play it by ear...
