I wrote it down because I thought I'd remember it. That was the point. Now I'm not so sure what the point was... It still feels familiar when I look at it, like I should recognize it properly, like I almost do. But it never stays long enough to become clear. My day continues normally. At least I think it does... There's nothing obvious missing. Still, I keep noticing small pauses where nothing should be paused. Small thoughts that stop before they finish. Small moments where I feel like I already understood something but can't repeat it. It's probably nothing... You might think so too. That would make sense. But sometimes I wonder if you're reading this the same way I'm writing it. Carefully... As if something important is just out of reach in what is not being said. I don't say it. I almost never do.
