My initial purpose in setting up this channel was to share rare examples of New York sports radio through the decades in my collection. The sports talk shows of WFAN from its earlier years (1988-2003) are featured and also earlier examples of New York sports radio such as John Sterling's talk show on WMCA in the 1970s. Rare news radio coverage of historic events such as September 11, 2001 are also be featured from time to time as well. This channel has since then branched out to include other areas of interest to me and it is my intention to try and keep posting things from these different areas in order to maintain appeal to all subscribers who came originally for one reason and not another. NY sports items will still be of importance along with news material, but I will also be posting things related to the areas of (1) classic game shows (2) auto racing and (3) Disney park attractions.
