Murat Film Resmi YouTube Kanalı 1930 Samsun da doğan yönetmen Süreyya Duru, Türk sinemasının ilklerinden yapımcı Naci Duru’nun oğludur. 1940’lı yıllarda Samsun’da bir kilisenin sinemaya dönüştürülmesiyle, Naci ve Nazif kardeşler tarafından başlatılan yolculuk, önce Nazif Beyin daha sonra abisi Naci Beyin İstanbul’a yerleşmeleriyle devam etmiştir. Nazif Bey Atlas Film’i 1945, Naci Bey Duru Film’i 1947 yıllarında kurmuştur. Süreyya Duru, Duru Film de prodüktör amiri olarak görev almış, Orhon Arıburnu, Lütfi Akad, Atıf Yılmaz gibi yönetmenlerle çalışmıştır. 1957 yılında oğlunun adını verdiği şirketi Murat Film’i Kurmuştur. Kendisinin ilk yönetmenliğini yaptığı “İstanbul’da Aşk Başkadır” filmini 1961 yılında çekmiştir. 1966 yılında karikatürden uyarlama tarihsel macera dizisinin ilk örneği olan “Malkoçoğlu”nu seyirci ile buluşturur.
