Jon has always been fascinated by scents, commencing with pinching his dad's Old Spice and original Dunhill from over 50 years ago. His first purchased scent was Brut 33 and he soon progressed forwards with fragrances such as Yardley Gold, Denim and Mandate. His first really significant purchase was Kouros in the mid '80's, followed by Jazz, Quorum. He started serious collecting in 2013 and in the same year, began reviewing scents exclusively on Fragrantica and currently has well over 240 reviews featured. His collection has grown to well over 400 bottles and he has made appearances on both Lex Ellis and Mr Smelly's channels.
