"A protest against all forms of life voiced through works of pain and isolation." Sorry... is a one-man depressive black metal project (DSBM) from Greece, founded in 2019 by Dimitrios. After the release of his debut EP, Failure Years of Neglect Apathy (2019), Dimitrios has continued to lead the project solo, occasionally inviting various session musicians. The following year saw the release of two more EPs Bereavement of Existence and Saudade (both 2020) continuing the project’s raw exploration of themes such as depression, anxiety, and emotional distress. Over the next few years, he released three full-length albums. All That Died Was My Innocence (2021) and Self Inflicted Razor Cutting (2023) showcased a more refined sound while maintaining his emotionally anguished atmosphere. The exceptional Innocence.Love.Sadness (2022) saw the project diverge into happier melodies, offering an ironic twist to the genre. In 2024, he returned with the EP, Never Fail to Disappoint, offering a suffocating sense of isolation — a bleak reminder that you are always alone. Later that year, the full-length album Drowned in Misery was released, featuring anxious guitar riffs and desperate vocals recorded in moments of heightened distress. The latest album Fragile (2025) represents Sorry…’s most emotionally vulnerable release yet — blending the raw despair of DSBM with post-punk, and darkwave. "To this day, I continue to share my feelings of sadness, hopelessness and misery through my music."
