Inspired by Retrontario and the other awesome folks who keep local histories alive through the sharing of old broadcast clips, this channel is home to the cache of clips from old VHS tapes in my parents' basement, mostly from Southwestern Ontario, national Canadian broadcast, and upstate New York in the 80s, 90s and early 00s. My parents worked in Canadian television in the 80s-90s, and I grew up in studios watching the magic. This channel is basically a love letter to the Canadian TV industry I grew up in. This channel is not monetized; I make no profit here. All content is presented under fair dealing/fair use for education - as we move farther into the digital age so much is being lost, and my aim is to educate about the local histories and production practices of the past.
