O Canal NMP foi criado com o intuito de valorizar a música potiguar e tudo começou com a estreia do programa Nossa Musica, no dia 04 de Maio de 2015. O programa Nossa Musica foi idealizado por Robson Sêmog, que tinha ideia de fazer um programa que pudesse apresentar 2 artistas potiguares passando 2 horas no ar contando sua história e mostrando o seu trabalho, coisa que nenhuma emissora local faz até hoje. Em 2017 Robson semog vendo a necessidade de ampliar ainda mais o espaço para a musica potiguar, resolveu montar um studio de TV, onde abriria espaço para apresentadores criarem seus programas também incluindo musica potiguar, daí então foi criado o NMP ESTUDIO TV. hoje o Canal NMP coleciona na sua grade 12 programas que exaltam a música potiguar e dentre os seus apresentadores temos nomes da TV tradicional como Toinho Silveira e Luiz Almir. O Canal NMP é uma emissora de Smart TV, a maior do Facebook a nível nacional, e é um orgulho do nosso estado para os nossos artistas.
