Discussion and analysis of games - particularly retro and indie games - from the capital of Sichuan Province in China. Since early 2015, we have been organizing regular meet ups in the city to play new and old games which epitomize the principles of video games that we grew up with in the 1990's. We are game enthusiasts and industry professionals, and most of us are veteran China expats. China's domestic game industry is a fascinating topic and from time to time we delve into that as well. But culturally, we are westerners, raised on NES, Genesis, and SNES, expressing our viewpoint on gaming culture in a faraway place. Since 2015, we have hosted over 25 competitive tournaments in Chengdu around some of our favorite games: Mario Kart, Street Fighter, Towerfall, Samurai Gunn, and many more.
