Hey Guys! My name is Makensey and I'm a 12 year-old athlete who plays AAU Basketball. As a basketball player, or an athlete in general, an ACL injury can be a terrifying thing to go through but can you imagine as pre-teen! I created this channel to document my recovery and to bring awareness to the increase frequency of ACL injuries in young athletes. The key to recovery is finding the best Orthopedic Surgeon "Shout Out to Dr. Bradley of Duke Sports Med" and your commitment to Sport Physical Therapy (PT) to rebuild your strength and endurance in order to Return To Sports! I hope my journey will encourage any young athletes who may have suffered an ACL injury to know that this minor setback is preparing you for a major come back! Like, Comment, Subscribe, and Share!
