Hey guys! My name is Rob, and welcome to my channel. I grew up working in my dad's pattern shop, where we made wood patterns for foundry castings. In my high-school years, I took an interest in furniture making, and still enjoy doing it to this day. After graduating college and getting my degree in Industrial Arts, I went to work for my dad full-time. It was during this time that I got a behind-the-scenes look into manufacturing that most people never see. At the shop, we made wood patterns, assembly fixtures, shipping fixtures, trim jigs and all kinds of components for local industry. We were the ones making the tooling that allowed industries to make their products. Whether it's woodworking, yard work, home-improvement, or something completely different, I always have a project going.
