Il canale ufficiale del museo HZERO di Firenze che ospita un plastico ferroviario di 280 mq, costruito in oltre quarant’anni di lavoro da un gruppo di modellisti appassionati. Questo plastico in scala H0 tra i più estesi d’Europa, è nato grazie all’energia creativa di Giuseppe Paternò Castello di San Giuliano, che vi si è dedicato con passione e dedizione a partire dagli anni Settanta. Si tratta di un incredibile mondo immaginario in miniatura dove è possibile veder sfrecciare in contemporanea oltre 70 treni, immersi in scenari ricostruiti alla perfezione che rimandano alle architetture di Berlino, ai paesaggi montani delle Dolomiti, alle coste dell’Isola d’Elba fino a una grande stazione che sembra proprio quella di Milano, ma riprodotta in scala 1:87. Grazie ai suoi 280 mq, 121 semafori, 1000 lampioni, 147 scambi, 359 tratte e quasi 1 chilometro di binari, HZERO è il plastico ferroviario più grande d’Italia.
