I play Doom, heavily modded on ZDoom. I love the first 2 games, they were simple: here's a gun, kill anything that moves. Doom 3 was more horror, and the graphics are in-between good and bad and it's just gross. After that (2016 and Eternal) they got more complicated, with more plot, missions, maps got easier to get lost in, more weapons/enemies, etc. I like the goal of the first two, but they suck by today's standards, so I play ZDoom with lots of mods. Still has the feel and simplicity of the old ones, but lots more fun. And there's tons of maps to play.
