My goal is to show that you donāt need to be āspecialā or have a gifted mind to memorize the Quran. All it really takes is consistency, dedication, making duŹæa, and truly wanting it. The most traditional methods still work: take new versesāeven 1 to 2 linesābe consistent, and review suras you already know. Understanding the meaning, listening to your favorite Qari, and even writing the verses down all help commit them to memory. And of course, having someone to hold you accountable makes a big difference. Thatās why I built an online academy with my siblings: Gewida Quran Academy (link in bio). Alhamdulillah, we were able to bring in my Azhari scholars. We selected people who can connect with you. They have hobbies, they have jobs, yet they still show that you donāt need to be gifted or have unlimited time. Our program is structured, organized, and built around milestones. Alhamdulillah, many of our students have memorized large portions of the Quran or earned multiple ijazÄt.
