Destination started as a project of the guitarist and the drummer, after the fallout of their last band in the end of march 2008. After a long search for some good vocals, Jelena Risovic, from the drummers previous band, joins the crew. In the meantime, the band gets named Destination and the three members start working on their new/old songs, including covers. After many bass replacements, Milos Grozdanovski enters the band. To fulfill the bands unique sound, the crew comes to an idea to recruit a keyboard player. In august, Marko Atanackovic takes that place. Since then, the band, with all of its members, starts recording their songs.In september 2008 Destination participates in the "Global Battle Of The Bands" SERBIA Challenge, which was held in club Danguba (qualifying heats) and SKC Beograd (National Final). In Danguba Destination wins the same number of points as Tea Break and Maron Sho and goes to the national final. On October 3rd, 2008, Tea Break wins the challenge and the trip to London, and Destination wins the crowd award - a trip to Romania and a chance to play at MUSIC EUROPE FESTIVAL 2009. These two shows (Danguba & SKC) were the band's first two gigs. After the GBOB Serbia Challenge 2008, Destination had a short appearance at the Belgrade 202 radio, with Tea Break. The goal was to talk about the competition and its success, and ofcourse to promote the band.The actual first longer gig (more than 8 minutes on GBOB) was at Living Room SKC at "Hit Nedelje Beograda 202", which was broadcasted live on a local radio called Beograd 202. The second gig was with band Black George, also participants of GBOB, @ Belgrade club Danguba, and it was very succesful...
