The Calgary Society of Community Opportunities supports people who have developmental disabilities to be part of the community. We have two types of programs; our Core Program and our Social Skills Programs. In our Core Program, we work with you to make programs and a schedule of activities both in the community and on-site including Social programs, Leisure programs, Educational programs, and Volunteering programs. We have opened up some of our most popular activities to adults with developmental disabilities who are seeking opportunities in Social Skills Programs which include courses on food preparation, hand-drumming, playing other musical instruments, and get moving to music and various other fun activities. These are provided at a nominal cost. In addition to these in person classes, we have begun production on videos providing a taste of what we do here. If you like what you see, its even better in person!
