OLD SKOOL DNB ON VINYL + BEATS (made on hardware) : During the late 90s and the first decade of the 2000s, dObiOo was part of Ghent’s drum & bass scene as one half of the DJ duo "dobe"n"daze" They launched the Mystic concept as a radio show, which later became an underground DnB party- hosting legends like Fabio, Marcus Intalex, Goldie, Flight, Storm, MC Fats, to name a few, alongside Belgium’s finest. "dobe"n"daze" were regulars in Sous-Sol and Decadance (Steam), and played in venues like Vooruit, Charlatan, Trix, and at events such as 10DaysOff, Laundry Day, and Star Warz. When DJing slowed down, dObiOo shifted to making ’90s-style beats with a bunch of hardware instruments — a passion he still carries. A few years ago, he fell in love again with his massive DnB vinyl collection, started recording mixes (see SoundCloud), and did a guest mix on Liquid Flavaz on Urgent.fm with MC Mush. This led to the creation of Soul-Sol Revisited at Ringo, an old skool dnb party concept.
