I launched this channel ,for people to share in my good fortune of living in this beautiful area Wales,UK,and to promote the local tourist industry. I am privileged to have acquired the intimate local knowledge of the sustainable hot spots for coastal foraging(Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire). I have had a life long interest in foraging (I believe it may be genetic as my father /grandfather/uncle and brothers all seem to have this "urge"). My knowledge of the coastal ecosystems/habitats has been gained by my life long study of my compulsive hobby. Following careers in the Royal Air Force,Banking and more recently Forestry I am now launching a new business "Coastal Foraging" whereby I will offer courses to individuals and groups of up to 12 ,to accompany me ,and experience days out that will be very similar to that shown on the channel.
