Swedish For Beginners are a Swedish pop orchestra, playing guitar-based indie pop with a lot of electronica and vocal harmonies, described at one point as the affinity between The Smiths and The Beach Boys. The new album - Facts and Fabrications, produced by Ollie Olson and released on Wonderland Records, is out now! Find it on www.cdon.com, www.klicktrack.com, www.wonderlandrecords.com and of course on Spotify! Swedish For Beginners started out in 2006 as a one-man project of vocalist and songwriter Johan Signert, but soon evolved to a live band. During early 2007, Swedish For Beginners attracted the attention of producer Ollie Olson, who previously has worked with Sugarplum Fairy, Robyn, Christian Walz, Teddybears STHLM and many more. Together with Ollie, the band have recorded the album "Facts and Fabrications", released May 27th 2009 on Wonderland Records. In October of 2007, Swedish For Beginners performed at the prestigious In The City festival in Manchester. One of 57 unsigned bands from all over the world, SFB was the only Swedish band to play at the festival.
