Ben Portsmouth, from Reading UK is a singer, songwriter, musician and actor (Autopsy: The Last Hours of Elvis 2014 & Elvis: Are You Lonesome Tonight 2020) and most notably an internationally renowned Elvis Tribute Artist. Having honed his musical talent Ben started his journey as an Elvis Tribute Artist in 2005 when he formed the Taking Care of Elvis Band. In August 2012, Ben made history in Memphis when he won the Elvis Presley Enterprises ‘Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest’, crowning Ben as the “Worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist”, the first artist from outside the USA to win this prestigious title. This resulted in Ben headlining a special Elvis week on the Late Show with David Letterman in February 2013 and has gone onto play venues around the world where audiences are measured in their thousands. There was only one Elvis, but Ben is the closest you will get in terms of looks, singing voice and on-stage charisma, as fans will also claim.
