CapoTrave/Kilowatt è un progetto internazionale di produzione, formazione, rigenerazione urbana e ospitalità dedicato alla scena contemporanea (teatro, danza, circo, musica, arti visive e multimediali). Fondato nel 2003, il cuore del progetto è il “Kilowatt Festival”, che da allora si svolge ogni anno a Sansepolcro durante il mese di luglio. Kilowatt è riconosciuto come uno dei più significativi eventi nazionali e internazionali del suo settore per la qualità delle scelte artistiche e per l’innovativo format dei Visionari: un gruppo di quasi 50 persone selezionano ogni anno 9 degli oltre 50 spettacoli presentati al festival. CapoTrave/Kilowatt gestisce il Teatro alla Misericordia di Sansepolcro e con Armunia di Rosignano Marittimo, è una delle due sedi del Centro di Residenza della Toscana. L’associazione è promotrice del network “L’Italia dei Visionari”, del progetto “Residenze Digitali” e dell’azione “Toscana Terra Accogliente”.
