Madhu Chapai is a flautist and disciple of Padma Vibhushan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, the legendary maestro of Hindustani classical flute. He was a resident disciple at Vrindavan Gurukul, Bhubaneswar, and is an All India Radio graded artist based in Bengaluru. Madhu has performed at prestigious venues and festivals across India. He has participated in programs organized by the Ravi Kichlu Foundation, performed regularly at Vrindavan Mahotsav, and had the privilege of accompanying Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia ji on stage at several events, including Pondicherry (2022) and NISER for SPIC MACAY. He has also performed at the Annual Kathak Mahotsav in Delhi alongside renowned Kathak artists Hari and Chethna. With over 10 years of teaching experience, Madhu has trained and mentored students from around the world, sharing the rich tradition of Hindustani classical flute through both in-person and online instruction.
