As an Instructional Designer, I create videos to help faculty set up courses for success. Growing up, I was homeschooled for 10 years using Abeka curriculum. Using a lesson plan book and watching pre-recorded VHS tapes of a classroom in Florida, I consider this an early version of online education. I've always been interested in technology and its personal uses. Being dyslexic, I learned early on that technology was a way I could learn faster and more efficiently than most.       Fast-forward to the present, I enjoy bringing technology into the classroom to bridge the gaps traditional learning leave behind. From the "Online Pep Rally" using Prezi video and streaming software to teaching instructors how to build courses using my YouTube channel, I use technology with one thing in mind: Student Success. I have professional certifications, but I feel they don't mean anything unless I make a difference in how education adapts to the ever-growing world of technology.
