'A brilliant young talent' - John Suchet, Classic FM. Cai started singing at the age of 7. At 12 years old, he was a finalist in BBC Radio 2’s Young Chorister of the Year. Cai’s debut album was released in 2020. Its title ‘Seren’, meaning ‘Star’ in Welsh and the inclusion of tracks such as traditional lullaby ‘Suo-Gân’ pay tribute to Cai’s proud Welsh heritage.
 As a treble, Cai was declared ‘a brilliant young talent’ by Classic FM’s John Suchet and chosen as one of their ‘Young Classical Stars’. Seren was both a Classic FM and Scala radio album of the week, and has featured on BBC radio, ITV and S4C, including ‘The Pembrokeshire Murders’. In 2019, he performed with Sir Karl Jenkins for a live Classic FM broadcast of his world premiere of ‘Miserere’. Now 19, he’s an accomplished soloist. He was a semi-finalist in the North Wales International music festival 2025, and was invited to sing at Maggie’s Christmas carol concert in London under the musical directorship of Paul Mealor.
