Through the Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Interdisciplinary Problems & Methods, LIS students tackle complex real-world problems. These include topics like AI & Ethics, Climate Change, and Inequality, as well as problems that are most compelling to them. Students work collaboratively to identify the knowledge and frameworks from across disciplines required to understand and analyse a problem, and learn the methods and skills needed to solve it. LIS students also put their learning to work through paid work placements at some of the UK’s most prestigious employers and exciting start-ups, like Virgin, McKinsey, Innocent Drinks and the Met Police.
