Surwahi Social Ecoestate Kanha took birth on 31st Dec 2015 with an attempt to make wild life tourism sustainable, co-living and community oriented. Founders Ankit Rastogi and Pradeep Vijayan coming from decade plus of Tourism experience in India aim to bring out an innovative ecologically sensitive tourism initiative in the rural heartland of Kanha Tiger Reserve in the village of Surwahi, Madhya Pradesh. Thanks to an existing Ecotourism Homestay project called Kamp Kamoufllage Kanha for introducing us to KTR wilderness and leading to birth of SSEK. Situated in the thick jungles of central India, District Balaghat of Madhya Pradesh the project is hardly 1 km away from river Banjar and Kanha Forest Jungle Buffer Zone. SSEK is 21 KM from Khatiya gate of Kanha Park and around 40 KM from Mukki gate. Promoting "Coliving in wilderness" as principal theme this 10 acre forest estate has 2 Conscious Luxury Family Suite Rooms and 1 Earthen Dormitory Room with capability to host 28 adults.
