Søren Kierkegaard lived from 1813-1855 in Denmark. Christianity was his main interest. Christian Psychology was his area of expertise. Some philosophers call him and existentialist. He wrote about Friedrich Hegel (science), Johann Goethe (arts), and Johann Fichte (Ego), and inspired both Dostoyevsky and Nietzsche. Hegel wanted to start with the ethical life - a life of rules. Goethe wanted to start with aesthetics.
