Este ensamble nace en Valparaíso en el año 2020 debido a la necesidad de componer música en confinamiento estando en regiones separadas, uniendo de esta manera el Sur de Chile (Osorno) lugar de donde proviene el compositor y docente Matías Leyton Yáñez, la Zona Central (Valparaíso) y el viaje que hay entre estas dos Ciudades, nutriendo con este carácter errante las músicas que se interpretan. Estas músicas se materializan finalmente dando como resultado la grabación del disco "Lluvias y Silbidos" gracias a los Fondos de la Música, convocatoria 2021, del Ministerio de las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio.
