The Flamingos are celebrating their 8th decade in the music industry. They were hailed as one of the finest pop vocal groups in history. Terry Johnson was their musical & vocal arranger at the peck of their success, and his haunting etherial arrangement of "I Only Have Eyes For You" is still the most popular version of that classic song. But Terry has never stopped writing, producing and recording, even after his stay at Motown as writing and producing partners with Smokey Robinson. Today's Flamingos continue to explore and stretch their musical muscles into different genres. They refuse to stay in the 50's box that they started in.
