Diese Sammlung meiner Favoriten ist nicht zuletzt auch als eine kleine Hommage an Winfrid Trenkler gedacht, der von 1972 bis Mitte der 1990er Jahre mit seinen Radiosendungen "Radiothek am Donnerstag", "Rock In" und "Schwingungen" (nicht nur) meinen Musikgeschmack entscheidend geprägt hat. The collection of music presented here is not least a tribute to Winfrid Trenkler, one of the most influential music journalists and "godfather of Radio-DJ" in Germany. Winfrid, who is now living in Sweden, went down in the history of German rock music and electronic music as editor and link man of legendary radio shows, which he presented fom 1972 to 1995. Not leaving aside more recent sounds, 'Musik & mehr' wants to bring back musical memories of those days and shows. I hope, you'll enjoy it - and: Keep on rocking! *** NEWS *** In December 2011 I am launching a 'Japanese rock special' at my channel, compiling some interesting tracks from this country. Leaving aside Japanese teen pop (which often is labeled 'J-rock', too), this compilation will contain straight hard rock, progressive, experimental and epic rock, some jazz rock and punk rock, psychedelic sounds and heavy metal songs, which I enjoy. If you have any proposals, feel free to send me your nominations and respective YT-links. If I like this stuff, I'll enter it on the list!
