Pam Ayres is the UK's "bestselling female poet since records began" (The Bookseller, January 2024) a writer, broadcaster, and entertainer with a career spanning over 50 years. She's known for her best-selling poetry collections, regular appearances on BBC Radio 4 shows like 'Ayres On the Air' and 'Just A Minute', and her twice guesting on 'Desert Island Discs'. As a TV presenter, she recently filmed two series about The Cotswolds for Channel 5 TV, and has won 'Celebrity Mastermind'. Pam has performed thrice for HM Queen Elizabeth and was honoured with an MBE in 2004.
