Because of digital technology and the ability to produce an immersive experience, storytellers in remote locations don't have to travel to share their stories. These stories can be streamed into a centralized location, which alters the traditional blueprint for cultural events and allows audiences to experience remote locales without having to leave their seats. The Vision: to unleash the creative potential of a multicultural collective and explore a global theme via technology. Produced by LoNyLa (lonyla.com), the TimeWave Tipi Programme 2014-2015 will combine transmedia/story hackathons, panels, a projected storywall and live/online performances employing telepresence.
