It challenges boundaries in climate education by focusing on cultural narratives underpinned with science-based facts. We aim to shift cultural thinking about climate change. We move away from a reductive "having less" attitude, towards a sustainable mindset of “having more.” It is work by University of Toronto students in a 4th year course, Considering Sustainable Textiles and Fashions in the Age of Climate Crisis, begun in 2022 by Dr. Alexandra Palmer. By strengthening research skills to confidently pick apart complex global issues and greenwashing we aim to inform and encourage you to think about fashion consumption.
