Edit the Empire are a Melbourne based Dance Rock project. The band initially started in 2016 as a garage band. The Group then evolved into a more alternative modern rock outfit with their singles 'Ray of Light' and 'This City's Electric' shaping themselves into prime contenders for the Melbourne rock scene. With the wave of the pandemic hitting in 2020 the band found a gap when restrictions where temporarily lifted to record their Live video set and EP "Live at Sound Park" while also releasing the live session as an EP on Spotify and all streaming services. After a creative hiatus the band is looking to reform with a new line up with a developed Dance Rock sound with their latest EP 'Trinity Infinity'. The EP blends alternative rock with dance beat elements, creating a new dynamic and exciting genre called 'Alt-Beat' or Alternative Beat. Recording the EP with primitive equipment the EP shows the bands ability to adapt showing the world they have great potential for 2026 and beyond.
