Hala Kazim is a counselor, author and founder of “Journey Through Change”, a positive transformation program. She is a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. Hala studied counselling and coaching in City University, London, UK, and has also received her certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming – Coach and Practitioner from the American Board NLP, London UK. In early 2010, Hala established “Journey Through Change” a program dedicated to guide people to improve their lives in positive way through different activities such as counselling, coaching, workshops, lectures and team building hiking trips. She holds a number of awards, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for “Best Businesswoman in the UAE” in 2013. In addition, she was Criterion Winner for the Innovation Emirates Women Award 2014; a tribute from several government agencies and the private sector for her role in community service. She also published her first book “Hala and Change” in early 2015 and her second book “
