Welcome to 8 Hours of! The one-stop channel for 8 hours long videos to fall asleep and relax to. The majority of videos are recordings from video games. This enables me to combine my huge lifelong passion for games and relaxation. I use various tools to be able to turn off the hud, weapons, or anything else that interrupts the visuals. I usually spend hours to find that one perfect spot in the levels until I feel it's good enough to record and upload. I use Windows 11 and Nvidia's Shadowplay to record the videos. I then edit them in Davinci Resolve and render them. A typical render takes around 6 hours. For non-game videos, I use my Sony PCM-D100 to record the audio and my phone or GoPro to record all the visuals.
