G'day, My name is Daniel Dacey and I am a model kit builder based down in Australia's southern most state Tasmania. Like many I started doing models as a young kid with my dad's encouragement and moved away from the hobby in my twenties as other priorities in life took over. In 2015 I was having a fairly stressful year at work and decided I need something I could pick up and put down when time permitted to just relax and have some quiet time. I've been having a ball with rediscovering the hobby ever since. Now I'm retired and enjoying my time building and learning more about the craft of scale model building.
