[[**]] Roman Catholics add "and The Son". The clause "and the Son"(filioque) is a later addition to the Creed by King Reccared of Spain in 589 AD, at a council in Toledo. It was at first local, but later was incorporated to the Creed universally by the Roman Catholics. I don't acknowledge that clause as an Orthodox Christian, but I leave this clause by acknowledging that aside this difference, This Creed is the Universal CHRISTIAN CREED and I leave it there for educational purposes, for understanding purposes, and for the sake of unity of the Creed between Eastern and Western Orthodoxy,and for the sake of those Protestants who should know the fact of the existance of this Creed amongst the Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox churches, respectively, and for the sake of my sincerity and openess t
