The adjustments reflect Honda’s efforts to reorganize North American manufacturing around strong hybrid demand and limited inventories. The current CR-V remains Honda’s best-selling vehicle, with U.S. sales increasing 9.5 percent to 336,844 through September 2026. Dealer inventory stands at approximately 17 days, prompting Honda to prioritize production of the existing model. The redesigned CR-V reportedly will use a lighter platform and offer exclusively hybrid powertrains. Honda currently builds the crossover in Ohio, Indiana and Ontario.
