It gets the highest priority in the Indian railway network and is considered one of the fastest trains in India, along with Gatimaan Express, Rajdhani Express, Shatabdi Express and Duronto Express. The lush interior design includes LED screens with USB port, Wi-Fi, mobile and laptop plug points, celebrity chef menu, attendant call button, vending machines for tea and coffee, magazines, snack tables and smoke detection system. Each coach can seat up to 56 – 72 passengers and is fully air-conditioned. The classes available as of present are: AC Chair Car AC Executive Chair Car Tejas Express Routes Originally, the Indian Railways proposed three routes for Tejas Express. At present, the Mumbai CST - Karmali Tejas Express with an operating speed of 130 km/h (81 mph), running between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Maharashtra and Karmali, Goa is the only Tejas train that is in operation. The total route between these two stations is 552 km (343 mi), with 5 stops in between. It operates 5 days in a week.
