Hi all Here's my latest video for the U2 song Fast Cars. It wasn't my first song choice to make a video for, but I thought it suited the graphics and video footage I'd chosen better than any of the other non-video songs from the HTDAAB era. I was partly influenced by the new video for Get On Your Boots as the band plays against a green screen backdrop (that later on in the production they add special effects to) and I noticed that the short video for the Vertigo ipod commercial also had a similar coloured background that maybe I could add some sort of effect to. As there was only a maximum of 84 seconds of U2 footage in the ipod commercial to try and stretch to the 3 and half minutes of Fast Cars, I have had to use A LOT of repeated footage. But hopefully the background keeps the viewer interested and also adds a little bit of UMPH to the song ;) The band appear quite dark against the background, but I think the whole 'silhouette' thing works really well. Anyways, hope ya like it ;)
