Cybertruck + FSD 14.2.1 + Walmart’s new 400 kW chargers in Florida… what could possibly go wrong? 😅 In this run I set the Cybertruck to Mad Max and let FSD (Supervised) handle the whole drive out to the new Lakeland, FL Walmart – one of the first Walmart-branded 400 kW DC fast-charging sites in the state. This is Walmart’s own network, not Electrify America, and I wanted to see how both FSD and the chargers behaved in the real world. On the way out, 14.2.1 does its usual thing: lane choices on surface streets, merges onto I-4, cuts through traffic, and then has to work its way into a busy Walmart parking lot where nobody asked to be part of an autonomy test. Once we get to the chargers, I plug in, walk through the $0.46/kWh pricing, the new Walmart charger UI, and how the Cybertruck actually ramps up and holds power on a “400 kW max” unit.
