VIDEO NO 40 in 2025 - Excuses or Reasons This is the EU session from the 25th of February 2025. Today was my first day back from my holiday. The market was slow to provide a signal, but when it finally did, I was treated to a significant move against my positions. THEN the market turned, and I had a 1.5% morning. I call today's "stream" Excuses or Reasons. I have contracted a serious eye infection, and it pains me to even blink. When DAX and FTSE both offered me a good opportunity to exit for a decent profit, I took it. Now, did I take it because I wanted out or did I take it because I was in pain, and I didn't want to trade. The honest answer is that I was (am) in pain and I really didn't want to trade anymore. Food for though - for me at least. I took a 38% retracement in a strong trend in FTSE. That is a great entry technique. It was Larry Pesavento who taught me that. Otherwise I never really use Fibonacci. I also took an ANTI SRS in DAX, and while I had to sit through 30 points of pain, it worked out. Ironically, it is now 100 points higher from my exit.
