Millions of migrants of any quality and any provenance gushed into Britain. This was the Boriswave. British people now want to undo this wave and unpick at least some of the damage it did - but the Tory Party have now decided instead to say, "the Boris wave was good, actually".  Tim Stanley, a bellwether of modern Tories, spoke at the party's conference to condemn the "racist far-right", say how proud he is that his party is led by someone of foreign origin, and to say of the Boriswave that it would be "immoral" to return them and "they ain't going back". He's also at pains to emphasise that Olukemi Olufunto Badenoch is as English as they come, and that anyone who thinks she isn't "just doesn't like black people". But Kemi has described herself as "Yoruba". And why does Tim Stanley think that if you think somebody's not English, you don't like them because they're black? Somebody can be not English, and you can still like them, and you can even want them in your country. I don't think Kemi should be deported. I don't think 99.9% of people on the supposed "far right" think that either. Mostly because she's got a posh English accent. I don't think there's anything immoral about asking people to return to the country they were born in, the country of their ancestors, if being here isn't working out for us. I'd quite like to return to the country I was born in. Trouble is, I never left it. Tim even admits that the mass immigration was very, very wrong. So why is it morally wrong to roll back something that was very very wrong? Despite Tim's low-testosterone submission to endless mass immigration, of course it can be reversed. Donald Trump did this in America. Iran and Pakistan deported millions of Afghans. They just did it. You can just do things.
