Sometimes the best way to get away from work is to take the office with you. For this film I loaded the canoe, headed upstream and spent the night camping beside the river in my Ticket to the Moon hammock. The plan was simple: find somewhere quiet, set up camp, get a little work done and then remember why I had come out there in the first place. Naturally, things did not go entirely to plan. There was a fair amount of paddling, dragging, lining the canoe upstream, some rather bland chicken and potatoes after I forgot the seasoning, and the small matter of forgetting my book. But there was also firelight, coffee, birdsong, still water and one of those quiet nights that reminds you how little you actually need. This film was created in paid collaboration with DJI and features the DJI Power 2000, a 2048Wh DJI Power Station that I used throughout the trip to power my laptop and keep my cameras, drone, phone and other filmmaking equipment charged while working and camping beside the river.
