These bearings are pressed into the front section of the transmission housing and secured with retaining rings. • Removing these bearings requires a special tool designed specifically for extracting internal bearings from their housings. • The principle is quite simple: a special expanding sleeve is inserted inside the bearing and locked against the inner part of the bearing.
