Amazon just announced a new Alexa tablet lineup that runs full Android with the Google Play Store. The catch is the price. These are way more expensive than the Fire tablets they replace. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📱 ALEXA TABLETS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Alexa Tablet 12 Pro: https://geni.us/6oTv Alexa Tablet 11: https://geni.us/pBDnA Alexa Tablet 8: https://geni.us/HfIcGO As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon is dropping the cheap Fire tablet formula. The new Alexa Tablet 8, Alexa Tablet 11, and Alexa Tablet 12 Pro run full Android with the Google Play Store and an Amazon launcher on top, instead of Fire OS and the Amazon Appstore. In this video I walk through all three models, the lock screen ad option, and why I would pay the extra $20 to kill those ads. I also break down the price jump against the old Fire HD 8 and Fire Max 11, the spec changes, and the storage downgrade. There is no microSD slot, so you are stuck with whatever storage you buy. The 8-inch stays at 60Hz. The 11-inch moves to 90Hz. Only the 12 Pro gets 120Hz, and the top Nanomatte 256GB model hits $679. At these prices you are shopping against a Samsung Galaxy Tab and an iPad, not a $79 kids tablet. I ordered the 12 Pro Nanomatte to test, and I will be comparing it against cheaper Android tablets. Prices discussed are the US prices shown in the video. Amazon says these ship October 14.
