HOW TO WASH YOUR BACKPACK 🎒🫧 Steps & important info!! 👇🏼 1. Empty everythingOpen ALL zippers and pockets and make sure they’re completely empty! Dump and shake out your pack to get rid of any loose dirt, dust, rocks, etc. 2. Remove componentsTake off any removable pieces like hip belts, shoulder straps, frames, or other attachments. 3. Fill your tub (or basin)Use lukewarm water and add a small amount of mild detergent like @nikwaxna Tech Wash. If your pack is really dirty, fully submerge it and let it soak for 30 minutes–1 hour. 4. Scrub problem areasUse a soft-bristle brush or sponge to gently scrub anywhere sweat and dirt tend to build up especially the back panel, shoulder straps, hip belt, and bottom of the pack!!! 5. RINSE, RINSE, RINSEVERY important step!! Rinse your pack thoroughly with clean water multiple times. You want to make sure every bit of soap is out before drying. 6. Hang dryHang your pack upside down with all of the pockets and zippers open and let it air dry completely away from direct sunlight. IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:-Use a MILD detergent. you want one without fragrances or additives. Never use bleach or fabric softeners-Use a soft brush/sponge only. harsh scrubbing can damage the fabric and protective coatings on your pack.-NEVER put your backpack in the washing machine or dryer-Always check your pack manufacturer’s care instructions first!
