There were 12 NBA games last night, and somehow BOTH teams from last season's NBA Finals are STILL winless! Here's everything you need to know! Starting with the defending champion Knicks, who lost to the Celtics 107-103! Jayson Tatum dropped 36 points, including 25 in the second half, sending New York to 0-2! So far this season Brunson is shooting 36% from the field! And the Spurs are ALSO 0-2 after losing to the Rockets 114-110! Sengun dropped 29 points, and Amen Thompson blocked Wembanyama's potential game-tying shot in the final seconds! The Hawks absolutely DESTROYED the Hornets 128-81! That's a 47-point victory, the largest blowout in Hawks regular season franchise history, and Charlotte's first home game without LaMelo Ball turned into a disaster. The Lakers beat the Clippers 125-117, with Austin Reaves scoring 28 points. But Walker Kessler might've been the bigger story, finishing with 22 points and SIX blocks! The Trail Blazers beat the Kings 128-120, despite Sacramento rookie Darius Acuff dropping 33 points and Domantas Sabonis recording a ridiculous 27-point, 19-rebound triple-double! The Jazz narrowly beat the Pelicans 120-119, with rookie Darryn Peterson hitting the go-ahead free throws in the final minute. New Orleans is now 0-2! The Mavericks beat the Pacers 121-105, but the big concern was Cooper Flagg leaving the game with a shoulder injury. Kyrie Irving led Dallas with 24 points. The Pistons beat the Heat 128-111, despite Giannis dropping 36 points! Miami has now allowed 259 points through two games and is still searching for its first win. The Timberwolves beat the Magic 115-93, even though Anthony Edwards shot just 5-for-23 from the field! Minnesota dominated Orlando on the glass. The Raptors beat the Wizards 112-102, with Scottie Barnes putting up 28 points and 14 rebounds. Toronto also forced 23 turnovers! The Bulls beat the Bucks 132-125, overcoming an early 15-point deficit! Norman Powell scored 25, while Tyler Herro's 34 points weren't enough to save Milwaukee. And finally, Memphis and Golden State came down to the final seconds, with memphis winning 111-108! Rookie Cameron Boozer had 25 points and 13 rebounds, a massive improvement from his seven-point NBA debut.
